Wedding DJ in Salina & Central Kansas
Your wedding should sound like the two of you. I’m Ryan, a wedding DJ based in Salina, and I build every wedding around the couple: the songs you love, the moments that matter, and a dance floor your guests won’t want to leave.
Ceremony
I can handle all of your ceremony audio: music while guests are seated, the processional, microphones for your officiant and vows, and the recessional. My setup can run entirely on battery, so a barn, a pasture or a spot in the woods works just as well as a chapel. Ceremony audio is $500 when added to your wedding.
Cocktail hour and dinner
While you take photos, your guests get a relaxed soundtrack that fits the mood. Through dinner, I keep the music at a level where people can still talk, and as your MC I handle the announcements so everyone knows what’s coming next.
Reception
This is where we turn it up. Your wedding package covers cocktail hour, dinner and dance, with a wireless microphone, dance floor lighting and liability insurance included. I read the room and keep the floor full, from the grand entrance to the last song.
How planning works
- Consultation. We meet by video or in person to talk about your day and make sure we’re a good fit.
- Online wedding planner. You get access to my online planner, where you can pick your must-play songs, your special moments and your timeline. You can also give me a do-not-play list (songs, artists or whole genres), and I stick to it.
- Planning call. About 4–6 weeks before the wedding, we go over every detail together so nothing is left to chance. Final details are locked in no later than one week before.
- Wedding day. I coordinate with your photographer, venue and day-of coordinator so the whole day flows smoothly.
Make it unforgettable

Where I travel
I’m based in Salina and DJ weddings all over central Kansas, including Abilene, McPherson, Lindsborg, Hutchinson, Junction City, Manhattan, Concordia, Ellsworth, Hays and Wichita. Seventy miles of round-trip travel is included. Beyond that it’s $.67 per mile, and I’m happy to give you an exact quote. See the FAQ for details.
